Sarah Redett

Philanthropy & Communications Coordinator

How long have you been working at First Tee? I started as an Event Management Intern at First Tee – GCNKY in the Fall of 2022 and have worked here ever since!

What is your background? I am originally from Marblehead, Ohio up on the lake where I attended Danbury High School. I then attended Miami University for both my undergraduate degree in Integrated Mathematics Education and my graduate degree in Sport Leadership and Management which I obtained in December of 2022. Throughout my short career in sport, I have worked with Sports Force Parks in Sandusky, Ohio and the Miami University Athletic Department in Facility & Events.

Why were you interested in First Tee? As someone who grew up around the game of golf and wanted to make a difference through youth sport, First Tee and their mission peaked my interest immediately. Then, as an intern, I got to see how impactful our programs are in the lives of so many local kids and wanted to continue to help in any way that I could!

What is your favorite part of First Tee? My favorite part of First Tee is how passionate the coaches, volunteers & staff are about making a difference in the lives of our participants. It is truly what makes our chapter so unique and impactful!

What is your favorite First Tee memory? My favorite First Tee memory has to be when our chapter was given the opportunity to help at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. It was such an honor to be a part of such an important event that brought the LPGA back to Cincinnati and see how our kids and teens got to experience it all first hand.
