Golf Marathon: September 2026

Our month-long, play-on-your-own-time fundraiser is back! Play whenever it’s convenient for you throughout the month. If you’d like to participate, contact [email protected] to set up a registration page.

MINI Golf Marathon: October 18, 2026 | 11:00am – 4:30pm | The Acres

This year we’re adding a one-day MINI Golf Marathon at The Acres in Springdale. This fun, family-friendly putt-putt event is open to everyone — whether you play, form a team, or cheer from the sidelines. It’s one more way to show up for our kids.

5th Annual O’Bannon Member-Participant Challenge: July 6, 2026

First Tee partnered with O’Bannon Creek Golf Club for our annual member-participant challenge, pairing our participants with O’Bannon members for a scramble at one of Ohio’s top courses. This year was our biggest yet — more than 30 First Tee participants and O’Bannon Creek members formed 15 teams.

O’Bannon Creek also donated $15,000 to First Tee, bringing their total support to $50,000 over four years. Their generosity, mentorship, and commitment to our mission continue to make a lasting impact on the young people we serve. In recognition of that support, we were proud to name O’Bannon Creek Golf Club our 2025 Partner of the Year.

First Tee Week: May 23-30, 2026

In conjunction with the PGA TOUR’s Charles Schwab Challenge, we celebrated coaches and their impact on our participants and their communities. The incredible coaches and the meaningful relationships they foster have always been the heartbeat of First Tee.

LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship: May 14-17, 2026

May 14-17, 2026 at Maketewah Country Club

We had a wonderful time at the LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G, where our team worked the concession stands and took in an incredible field of women’s professional golfers. We were honored to receive a $50,000 grant from Kroger and P&G at the event to expance our Girls Golf program. That investment will open doors for more young women in our region to experience everything First Tee has to offer.

2026 Annual Golf Tournament: April 27, 2026

What a day on the course! The 2026 Annual Golf Tournament presented by Paycor was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out to support First Tee of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky. From the fairways to the fundraising, this year’s event brought together an incredible community of players, volunteers, and supporters — all united around our mission to positively impact the lives of young people in our region.

Together, we surpassed our fundraising goal, and every dollar raised goes directly toward funding our on-course, school, and community programs. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and participants. Thank you for showing up and making a difference.

Heart of First Tee Awards: February 12, 2026

For two decades, the heart of our Chapter has been its people. Strong, steady, and life-giving–our supporters, leaders, and champions keep our mission alive and thriving. On February 12, we hosted the annual Heart of First Tee Awards at Maketewah Country Club to honor the people who helped Build Game Changers in 2025. The event also recognized our graduating seniors who were awarded the Rita S. Metcalfe Memorial Scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year.

2025 Cincinnati Gives Challenge: December 1-11, 2025

The Cincinnati Gives Challenge was a huge success for all nonprofits in the region. Our chapter raised more than $50,000 during this year’s digital fund-raising competition presented by P&G and Cincinnati Magazine. Many thanks to all of our donors!

LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G

September 11-14, 2025 at TPC River’s Bend

First Tee – GCNKY staffed concession stands at the event. Shout-out to our amazing volunteers who served up burgers, hot dogs, and smiles — raising nearly $5,500 in tips for our programs.

Also at the event, our participant, Maggie M., won the Tide and Downy Perfect Shot Challenge in the amateur/high school group. Her $5,000 prize will be split between our Chapter and Madeira High School where she plays on the golf team.
