LPGA Kroger Queen City Championship: May 14-17, 2026

May 14-17, 2026 at Maketewah Country Club

We are so excited to welcome 144 of the world’s best golfers to Cincinnati for the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Our team at First Tee-GCNKY has been working with the tournament staff again this year to help support this great event as much as possible!

First Tee-GCNKY will be staffing concession stands at the event. Our chapter will receive a portion of concession revenue for volunteering with the event and provide First Tee-GCNKY great exposure!

Working a shift covers your admission to the grounds for the day
(1) Free meal per shift
(1) First Tee GCNKY t-shirt to wear while you help us out!
You can watch the tournament before/after your shift
Participants/children 11 and older can volunteer in the concession stand with an adult!

We will be at the tournament Thursday though Sunday. The shifts have been broken down into two, morning and afternoon. The morning shifts will be from 9:30am – 2:00pm, and the afternoon will be 2:00 – 6:30pm. Contact [email protected] if you’re interested in volunteering.

First Tee Week: May 23-30, 2026

During our inaugural First Tee Week (May 19-25), we celebrated coaches and their impact on our participants and their communities. The incredible coaches and the meaningful relationships they foster have always been the heartbeat of First Tee. In 2026, we’ll continue to celebrate our coaches during the PGA TOUR’s Charles Schwab Challenge (May 23-30, 2026).

2026 Annual Golf Tournament: April 27, 2026

What a day on the course! The 2026 Annual Golf Tournament presented by Paycor was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out to support First Tee of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky. From the fairways to the fundraising, this year’s event brought together an incredible community of players, volunteers, and supporters — all united around our mission to positively impact the lives of young people in our region.

Together, we surpassed our fundraising goal, and every dollar raised goes directly toward funding our on-course, school, and community programs. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and participants. Thank you for showing up and making a difference.

Heart of First Tee Awards: February 12, 2026

For two decades, the heart of our Chapter has been its people. Strong, steady, and life-giving–our supporters, leaders, and champions keep our mission alive and thriving. On February 12, we hosted the annual Heart of First Tee Awards at Maketewah Country Club to honor the people who helped Build Game Changers in 2025. The event also recognized our graduating seniors who were awarded the Rita S. Metcalfe Memorial Scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year.

2025 Cincinnati Gives Challenge: December 1-11, 2025

The Cincinnati Gives Challenge was a huge success for all nonprofits in the region. Our chapter raised more than $50,000 during this year’s digital fund-raising competition presented by P&G and Cincinnati Magazine. Many thanks to all of our donors!

September 11-14, 2025 at TPC River’s Bend

First Tee – GCNKY staffed concession stands at the event. Shout-out to our amazing volunteers who served up burgers, hot dogs, and smiles — raising nearly $5,500 in tips for our programs.

Also at the event, our participant, Maggie M., won the Tide and Downy Perfect Shot Challenge in the amateur/high school group. Her $5,000 prize will be split between our Chapter and Madeira High School where she plays on the golf team.
