First Tee Week: May 23-30

During First Tee Week, we celebrate coaches and their impact on our participants and their communities. The incredible coaches and the meaningful relationships they foster have always been the heartbeat of First Tee. In 2026, we'll continue to celebrate our coaches during the PGA TOUR's Charles Schwab Challenge (May 23-30, 2026).

First Tee Week for Our Chapter

First Tee Week centers on the Dear Coach campaign each year, and in our 20th anniversary year, it felt especially fitting to pause and celebrate the coaches and volunteers who have shown up session after session, invested in our young people, and carried this mission forward for two decades.

The story resonated. Fox 19, WCPO, and Spectrum News all covered the campaign locally, and First Tee headquarters spotlighted our own Coach Libby Chamberlin, whose journey from participant to coach is a beautiful example of what this program can become in someone’s life. Read Libby’s story here. One of our coaches also flipped the script with a heartfelt “Dear Participant” video that captured just how much this relationship means on both sides. Watch it here.

A $25,000 matching gift from the Joe and Christy Meyer Foundation amplified the generosity of everyone who gave during the week. We are grateful for every coach, donor, and partner who made First Tee Week meaningful.
