The 2025 class schedule is being finalized and will be posted on January 13.
Spring: March 31 – May 10

Spring Program Dates (March 31 – May 10)
- Registration opens February 24 at 9:00 AM – Scholarships are available! Apply during registration.
- All classes with kids ages 10+ may have the opportunity to play the course at their location depending on course availability.
- No equipment is needed to participate! We supply everything your child will need. If your child has equipment, bring them, but we suggest each club has a label with their name on it.
- Classes subject to change and additional class may be added. Check back prior to registration opening for full list of classes.

Class Descriptions
Ages 7-9
First Tee Program for ages 7-9 teaches the game of golf in a fun, safe, and empowering environment. At this age group, we are introducing and engaging participants with both golf and life skills.
Participants will get active and play golf with their peers to help them build inner strength, self-confidence, and enthusiasm for the game. Classes are designed to accommodate new and returning golfers of the same age. Participants will register and be grouped by age and will progress through the program as they “age up,” with lessons adjusted to challenge players at their skill level.
Ages 10-11
First Tee Program for ages 10-11 supports the exploration of both character and golf skills in active and collaborative ways.
The learning experiences in the course help to build inner strength, self-confidence, and an enthusiasm for the sport, while encouraging the development of positive Game Changing behaviors. Classes are designed to accommodate new and returning golfers of the same age. Participants will register and be grouped by age and will progress through the program as they “age up” with lessons adjusted to challenge players at their skill level.
Ages 12-13
First Tee Program for ages 12-13 focuses on the development of both golf and character skills. The lessons and activities in this program empower participants to explore both golf skills and character commitments appropriate for their stage of growth and development.
Coaches support the development of confidence in participants through additional opportunities for them to demonstrate mastery and growth in their golf skills and abilities. Classes are designed to accommodate new and returning golfers of the same age. Participants will register and be grouped by age and will progress through the program as they “age up,” with lessons adjusted to challenge players at their skill level.
Ages 14+
First Tee Program for ages 14+ places a greater emphasis on the personal development ofparticipants. These lessons help participants elaborate on their understanding, applyingwhat they have learned to new situations on and off the course to deepen their skills as theyevaluate, reflect on, and provide evidence of their new understanding of life and golf skills.
As participants learn more about who they are and what they are capable of, they have the opportunity at First Tee to begin to look towards the future and plan their own paths. Classes are designed to accommodate new and returning golfers of the same age.
Ace Class (14+)
The Ace Class is reserved for those who are completing the Ace Project (ages 14+). The Ace Project is our capstone experience and it integrates the skills and inner strengths participants have developed at First Tee and points them toward exploring, investing in, and building a clear plan and assets for their next step.

Ace Challenge Series (Application Required)

The Ace Challenge Series is the highest competitive level at First Tee – GCNKY. This class is reserved for participants who have excelled in First Tee programming and have demonstrated a commitment to playing golf competitively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Participated in First Tee for 1+ years and be an active participant in a 12-13 or 14+ (Spring/Summer/Fall) or teen off-season program

Handicap & Play Requirements:

Boys – USGA Handicap of 20 or less | or an average score of 93 for 18 holes

Girls – USGA Handicap of 22 or less | or an average score of 95 for 18 holes

Demonstrate knowledge of the First Tee curriculum and core lessons

Must be classified as an 8th grader, high school student, or a class of 2025 graduate.
- Must register for the series via the parent portal on the First Tee website.
Apply for the Ace Challenge Series
Schedule:
The First Tee Ace Challenge Series program meets four times (twice in the spring and twice in the Summer) per year to play at exclusive events and golf courses in the area. Schedule TBD.
Format:
Each event will be in a tournament format, with awards being presented to the winners of the boys and girls divisions. A points system will also be implemented for each event. Players will earn points based on their event ranking. At the series end, a grand champion for each division will be determined based on the number of points they have earned.

NEW – First Tee Academies | Ages 7-9, 10-11, & 12+ (Reeves Summer)
The First Tee Academy is a dynamic two-week summer program designed to provide participants with a complete First Tee experience. Meeting twice a week for two weeks, kids and teens will explore the First Tee Core Lessons, receive applicable golf instruction, and learn essential rules of the game—all in a fun, supportive environment surrounded by peers.
With age-specific academies for kids 7-9, 10-11, and 12+, this program is perfect for building confidence, learning new skills, and fostering a love for golf.
Middle School Clinic (Reeves Summer)
The Middle School Clinic is an interactive experience for participants ages 11-13 and is intended for those who currently play for their school team, are preparing for tryouts, or want extra practice to improve their game. This action-packed clinic meets twice over one week and is led will by First Tee coaches who use our proven curriculum to deliver customized lessons for players looking to take their skills to the next level.
During the clinic, participants will focus on:
- Advanced golf instruction
- Golf rules
- Etiquette
- On-course strategies
- Real-time situations
- And more!
NEW – High School Clinic (Reeves Summer)
The High School Clinic is an enriching opportunity designed for teens ages 14+ who currently play for their school team, are preparing for tryouts, or want extra practice to improve their game. This engaging clinic meets twice over one week and is led by certified First Tee coaches and instructors who specialize in preparing participants for competitive play.
During the clinic, participants will focus on:
- Advanced golf instruction
- Golf rules
- On-course strategies
- Real-time situations
- And more!

Class Cancellations or Missed Class Policy
We will try to hold classes rain or shine, but classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions. There are no refunds for cancelled classes. If your class was cancelled or your child cannot attend a class, we can not have them attend a different class since our classes reach their max capacity. If more than two classes are cancelled, we will make every effort to make up one of those classes but this is not guaranteed.
Please note, First Tee is a national organization founded on the principal of making a golf program that is affordable and inclusive. Only 25% of our program cost is covered by participant registration fees. Our Chapter funds the remainder of this cost to help make this an affordable golf program. Financial aid is always available.
