2026 Summer Clinics

Train your way. Play your best.

Summer golf programs for junior players ages 11 and up — group clinic or private lesson, led by certified First Tee coaches.

Not every junior golfer learns the same way. Some players thrive on the energy of a group setting; others do their best work one-on-one with a coach. This summer, we’re offering both — so your player can train in the format that suits them best and walk away a better golfer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the group clinic and the private lesson?

The group clinic is a three-hour session for high schoolers (14+) that covers advanced technique, strategy, and real-game situations in a small-group setting. The private lesson is a one-hour one-on-one session with a coach, open to players ages 11 and up, tailored entirely to your player’s individual game and goals.

Which program is right for my child?

If your player is in high school and enjoys learning alongside peers in a structured environment, the group clinic is a great fit. If they’re ages 11 and up and would benefit from focused, individualized coaching — regardless of experience level — go with the private lesson. Not sure? Reach out and we’ll help you decide.

What experience level is required?

The group clinic is designed for players who already have some golf experience. The private lesson is open to all experience levels — your coach will tailor the session to wherever your player is in their development.

How many spots are available?

Both programs are limited to 12 participants to ensure every player gets quality coaching time. We encourage you to register early — spots fill quickly.

Who are the coaches?

All sessions are led by certified First Tee coaches — Ben Walker and Tyler Sutphin — who specialize in junior player development and competitive play.

Can my child register for both?

Absolutely. The group clinic (June 26) and private lesson (July 10) are on separate dates, so players can take advantage of both for a well-rounded summer of instruction.
