How to Donate:
Donating gently used or older golf equipment is another way to help support our First Tee chapter. Besides volunteers, golf clubs and equipment are our greatest need. However, there are countless other items that would benefit our kids and classes. Check out our wish list for a comprehensive list of items we need!
1. Drop Off Directly to First Tee – GCNKY
We accept equipment donations at our clubhouse located at 4747 Playfield Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45226. Schedule your delivery by contacting Tyler Sutphin at 513-988-7226 x6 or [email protected].
Donation Criteria
We want to provide our kids with equipment that is best suited for them to succeed. We kindly ask that any equipment donated is at least 15 years old or newer. This ensures that our kids are not being hindered by their equipment as they play.
What is Accepted
The following items/categories are accepted as donations:
- Golf Clubs (15 years or newer)
- Golf Bags (gently used)
- Golf Balls
- Tees
- Training Aides
- Pull/Push Carts
What isn't Accepted
The following items/categories are not accepted as donations:
- Used Clothing & Accessories
- Trophies
- Books
- Artwork
2. Donate Locally – Play it Again Sports
If you have newer equipment (all sports!), you can bring the items to Play It Again Sports and ask that the value be applied to First Tee – GCNKY account. This is very helpful when needing to purchase youth sized clubs and other items for our classes. Participating locations are:

3. Donate – 2nd Swing Club Donation Program
With the 2nd Swing Club Donation Program the value of your used clubs and equipment is sent to First Tee as a cash donation. You can even direct funds to our chapter!
What Qualifies?
New and used golf clubs from the following brands: Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, Odyssey, Ping, PXG, Scotty Cameron, TaylorMade, Titleist, Tour Edge and Wilson.
Here a few tips for making your equipment donation:
- Fill in if you want your funds to support First Tee Headquarters or a chapter.
- Don’t see a brand listed on the trade-in website? Please call 2nd Swing at (612) 216-4152 to see if the item qualifies for a donation.
- Please call 2nd Swing at (612) 216-4152 if you have questions about an item qualifying for a donation. Golf balls will no longer be accepted.
- When shipping your equipment to 2nd Swing, please print your FREE shipping labels and include a copy of your donation summary in each box. The donation summary can be printed directly from website or from your email confirmation.
- A donation receipt will be sent within 3-4 weeks of receiving donation.
