Ragio to lead chapter in empowering kids and teens to build strength of character through life skills programs
CINCINNATI, Ohio (February 8, 2023) – First Tee — Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky (GC&NKY) announced today that Patricia “Patty” Lusheck Ragio has joined the youth development organization as the Chief Executive Officer to further its efforts of empowering kids and teens to build their strength of character through golf.
“We are so excited to have Patty lead our First Tee Chapter. Patty’s deep ties to the area and her commitment to helping young people be the best version of themselves made her the perfect fit as we look to build on the phenomenal growth that the Chapter has experienced over the past five years,” said Board President Sarah Sparks Herron.
Patty previously worked in development roles at the University of Cincinnati, as well as Mount St. Joseph University. She also led the combination of Mother of Mercy and McAuley High Schools as President. For the past two years, Patty has been an independent consultant.
“I’m honored and thrilled to partner with our wonderful staff, volunteers, board, donors and national network to continue to build and secure opportunities for our region’s youth to build character and leadership skills through golf. Today we serve over 20,000 youth in Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati and the Miami Valley. Tomorrow we will witness their success because of the life skills learned and relationships forged through First Tee programs.”
