Join us for classes in the spring, summer and fall at locations across Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky.

2024 Program Sessions & Important Dates

Spring – April 1 – May 11

  • Registration opens February 12th at 9:00 AM

Summer – June 3 – July 20

  • Registration opens April 15th at 9:00 AM

Fall – September 9 – October 19

  • Registration opens July 22nd at 9:00 AM

Summer Session (June 3 – July 20)

  • Registration opens April 15th at 9:00 AM – Scholarships are available. Apply during registration.
  • *There will be no classes the week of July 4th (July 1 – July 7). Classes will resume on July 8.*
  • All classes with kids ages 10+ may have the opportunity to play the course at their location depending on course availability.
  • No equipment is needed to participate! We supply everything your child will need. If your child has equipment, bring them, but we suggest each club has a label with their name on it.
  • Classes subject to change and additional class may be added. Check back prior to registration opening for full list of classes.

Additional Program Information:

  • The Middle School Clinic at Reeves (Ages 11-13) is open for those currently on a team or trying out for a school team. All classes are from 5:00 – 6:30 PM on 7/23, 7/25, 7/30, and 8/1.
  • The Ace Challenge Series (14+) is a by-invitation-only class is reserved for participants who have excelled in First Tee programming and have demonstrated a commitment to playing golf competitively. If your teen is interested, contact Ben Walker ([email protected]).

Additional Program & Class Information

2023 – 2024 Teen Off-Season

Off-season programming is open to teens Ages 14+. Join us October – April for golf, career exploration, and team building as we have fun at a number of different locations around the city.

Registration fee is $80. Scholarships are available and can be requested when registering.

Middle School Clinic (Reeves Summer)

The Middle School Clinic is intended for participants ages 11-13 who currently play for their school team or those who intend to tryout for the team.

The structure for the clinic is as follows:

  • Class #1 – Putting (short, intermediate, and lag putting)
  • Class #2 – Chipping & Pitching
  • Class #3 – Full Swing
  • Class #4 – On Course Playday

Additionally, each class will have a dedicated time to learn life skills and golf rules.

All classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 – 6:30 on 7/23, 7/25, 7/30, and 8/1.

Ace Challenge Series (Application Required)

The Ace Challenge Series is the highest competitive level at First Tee – GCNKY. This class is reserved for participants who have excelled in First Tee programming and have demonstrated a commitment to playing golf competitively.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Participated in First Tee for 1+ years and be an active participant in the 14+ class (Spring/Summer/Fall) or teen off-season program
  • Handicap & Play Requirements:
  • Boys – USGA Handicap of 18 or less | or an average score of 90 for 18 holes
  • Girls – USGA Handicap of 21 or less | or an average score of 93 for 18 holes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the First Tee curriculum and core lessons
  • Must be classified as a high school student or a class of 2024 graduate

Apply for the Ace Challenge Series

Schedule:

The First Tee Ace Challenge Series program meets six times (three in the spring, three in the Summer) per year to play at exclusive events and golf courses in the area.

Format:

Each event will be in a tournament format, with awards being presented to the winners of the boys and girls divisions. A points system will also be implemented for each event. Players will earn points based on their event ranking. At the series end, a grand champion for each division will be determined based on the number of points they have earned.

  • First Tee apparel & equipment (1 free dozen of logo balls)

Class Cancellations or Missed Class Policy

We will try to hold classes rain or shine, but classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions. There are no refunds for cancelled classes. If your class was cancelled or your child cannot attend a class, we can not have them attend a different class since our classes reach their max capacity. If more than two classes are cancelled, we will make every effort to make up one of those classes but this is not guaranteed.  

Please note, First Tee is a national organization founded on the principal of making a golf program that is affordable and inclusive. Only 25% of our program cost is covered by participant registration fees. Our Chapter funds the remainder of this cost to help make this an affordable golf program. Financial aid is always available.
