On Course Life Skills Program

More than a golf camp! Our First Tee coaches seamlessly integrate the game of golf with a life skills curriculum to create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience. We offer multi-week sessions in spring, summer and fall at a variety of area golf course teaching locations. We welcome all kids regardless of background or means. No previous golf experience is needed and we provide all equipment. Our chapter serves Hamilton, Clermont, Butler, and Warren counties in Ohio and Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky.

  • Kids 5 and 6 can sign up for Little Chipper classes during spring and summer!
  • Kids may start this program at age 7. If your child is 6 during registration but will be 7 during the session, please contact [email protected] to register them.
  • Class levels are progressive. Kids new to First Tee ages 7-9 should register at the PLAYer level. New kids who are 10+ and registering for their first First Tee class should register for a Par class. If your child is 13 and older and Reeves GC is convenient, we recommend the Teen class.
  • Teens @ Reeves GC is for kids ages 13 and older. This class combines the first two levels to allow older kids to stay with their age group while jump starting the curriculum. Kids 13 and older can still register for any PLAYer class at any location. We group classes by age in all of our levels so kids participate with kids their same age.

Class Cancellations or Missed Class Policy

We will try to hold classes rain or shine, but classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions. There are no refunds for cancelled classes. If your class was cancelled or your child cannot attend a class, we can not have them attend a different class since our classes reach their max capacity. If more than two classes are cancelled, we will make every effort to make up one of those classes but this is not guaranteed.

Please note, First Tee is a national organization founded on the principal of making a golf program that is affordable and inclusive. Only 25% of our program cost is covered by participant registration fees. Our Chapter funds the remainder of this cost to help make this an affordable golf program. Scholarships are available.
